Roboto Games, the independent studio behind the upcoming highly anticipated open-world fantasy survival crafting game Stormforge, has announced that the title will launch in Early Access via Steam November 10th. Survival crafting players can already grab a glimpse into the storm-powered open-world fantasy multiplayer game with the official demo that has been downloaded by more than 35,000 players, and registers positive community reviews.
The demo will be part of the October Steam Next Fest, with a major update dropping today that addresses community feedback, and showcases for the first time chaos hurricanes that wreck havoc across the entire world. It lets you test the character creation with three available classes (Warrior, Mage, and Ranger), and explore solo or up to 8 players the Whispering Vale starting biome and the Howling Woods biome with poison infused storms. While exploring, they will face a boss encounter and discover the Howling Woods biome’s first dungeons.
Stormforge is a cooperative survival experience set in a world overrun by magical storms. Each storm presents unique dangers such as: chaos hurricanes, tornadoes that fling rocks, trees, and enemies into the air; lightning strikes, moving toxic clouds, explosive fire spurts that leave behind pools of lava. The storms actively target and damage unprotect structures.. The storms have unique mechanics that change how the game is played, and are brimming with powerful resources, but filled with deadly creatures.
You can now download the Stormforge demo & wishlist the game on Steam, and get ready for the upcoming Early Access launch on November 10th. Community members can learn more about the game by visiting its Discord or following the studio on X, Tik Tok, Instagram or Facebook.
About Roboto Games
Roboto Games is a small scrappy studio made up of plucky game industry vets who, despite common wisdom, cannot stop making games. With an average of 12 years of games industry experience on the team, this isn’t our first rodeo. In 2007 we founded ZipZapPlay, which we sold to PopCap games in 2011.
