Developer Strange Scaffold has announced today its newest title, haunted book sorting simulator Something is Wrong With the Library, launching on PC via Steam this fall.

Set in the small mountain town of Sweet Elm, the game takes place inside the Alex Dieter Public Library and Center for Reflection, named for the billionaire who has transformed the town into a curated hub of technological innovation and small-town comfort. He has also been killing unhoused people and stuffing them in the walls of the library.
And now, the library is extremely haunted.
With the help of the library’s former administrator, Phillip Shed, you must clean and organize the library over the course of one tense night, shelving hundreds of real books while unraveling a story of complicity, supernatural violence, and what it takes to bring a haunted place peace–one shelf at a time.
