Twin-stick Roguelite ‘Plume’ Announced by Coreplix Studios

Independent developer Coreplix announced Plume today, a twin-stick action roguelite about a tribe of birds ravaged by a volcano. The Steam page is live now and the game launches in Q2 2027 for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Playtest can be signed up for on the Steam page

In Plume, you play as one of the last survivors of a bird tribe and shoot your way through randomly generated levels, climb the volcano towards the skies, and eat everything you find to reshape how you fight. Between runs, you return home and spend the materials you gathered to rebuild your village from ruins into a thriving home. Plume has no backpack: your inventory is your stomach, and everything you eat changes your build, from extra projectiles and faster fire rate to elemental damage. You can also plant seeds mid-run and grow them into powerful crops, so each run is shaped by what you choose to grow as well as what you find.
